PAD-Beads are versatile and flexible. They can be used to capture protein aggregates from liquid samples or homogenised tissues. After capture of aggregates and washing of the beads, the aggregates can be eluted and analysed by ELISA or Western blotting for the protein of interest.
PAD-Plates
PAD-Plates offer an ELISA-like assay. PAD-Plates can be used to capture protein aggregates from liquid samples or tissue homogenates. The Seprion ligand is provided coated onto the microplate wells.
After capture of the aggregates in the microplate wells by the ligand and washing of the wells, the immobilised aggregates are detected with an antibody to the protein of interest.
PAD Plates Evaluation Kit
This kit contains 2 microplates each coated with a different flavour of Seprion, SEP1 and SEP2. It also includes two different buffers, CB1 and CB2. This kit is provided for an initial study in order to see which plate and buffer combination works best for the protein of interest. Once the best combination is established the appropriate kit can be ordered (see below). It is probable that our experts may already have experience of the best combination for your protein and can advise.
PAD-Mab Aggregated IgG EIA test kit
This kit is used for the detection and monitoring of aggregated IgG which can include aggregated monoclonal antibodies, for example humanised monoclonal antibodies for therapeutic application.
Aggregated IgG is captured by the Seprion-coated microwells and after washing is detected with an anti-IgG HRP conjugate.
PAD-Abeta
This kit is used for the detection of aggregated beta-amyloid. Aggregated beta-amyloid is captured from the sample by the Seprion-coated microwells and after washing is detected with an anti-beta-amyloid primary antibody and a HRP-labelled secondary antibody.
